Hi hi! So, I'm starting a new (full-time) (not freelance) (not entirely WFH, i.e., showered) job on Monday. Exciting! I still hope/plan to post weekly because I still hope/plan to be an involved citizen, but posts will likely be shorter (praise God from whom all blessings flow, etc).
I'm here today to report that, if my reading and listening is any indication, there is a growing movement to replace President Biden on the Democratic ticket. If you think he should allow himself to be replaced—by any of a variety of legitimate routes—let him know!

If you have even a single Democratic representative (find out here), call that person and let them know, as well. It can be very brief!—just "I'd like Senator X to urge President Biden to remove himself from the Democratic ticket. I'm grateful for his service but want the Democratic Party to make a courageous decision to protect democracy."
The reps need our input...and they need our cover. If you're dismayed and want things to change, you're part of a club of millions—but Siri (I think?) hasn't yet learned to relay our inner worries directly to the federal government, so IF YOU HAVEN'T CALLED, THEY DON'T KNOW.
Phone numbers
- PA Senator John Fetterman: 412-803-3501 (PS this man asks you to leave basically every personal datum on his voicemail, which feels gutsy given that he won't wear pants. I leave the info I feel like leaving.)
- PA Senator Bob Casey: 412-803-7370
- Pittsburgh House Rep Summer Lee: 412-214-5000
- If you’re not in Pittsburgh/PA: find your rep (type in your zip code; scroll down to the federal section)

We're always wishing we could do something. WE CAN DO SOMETHING. It takes 3 minutes. Go for it, and let us know if you do! xoxo
